Methode
- Thinly slice the seitan and marinate it in a bowl with the oil, the Shoyu and the lemon juice for at least 2 hours.
- Mince the capers, combine 2/3 of them to the mayo and stir.
- Make a salad strata and on this assemble the seitan slices on a single layer, cover them with a thin layer of mayo and decorate with the remaining capers and some thin slices of orange peel.
Chef Advise: this dish is perfect if eat together with a salad dish.
Note:
Seitan is made of wheat and it contains proteins and no fats. It’s similar to the appearance and consistency of meat at the time of cooking, making it a popular substitute for meat and it is called “wheat meat”, “wheat proteins”, “wheat gluten” or simply “gluten”.
